For over two decades, the RG has reigned as the unquestioned monarch of metal guitars. Why? Because the RG has the perfect combination of fast, flat necks, the right pickups and pickup placement, and precision trem systems to mete out creative destruction. And because the RG has evolved and expanded along with the metal genre it was designed for. The 2009 RG line offers the new Figured Bubinga top RG420FB, Cinnamon top RG420CM and Beehive White finish/routed top RG420EGB.

24-fret, thin 3-piece Wizard II necks for fast and effortless shredding.

New gorgeous Figured Bubinga top on the RG420FB.

Edge III Tremolo
The new Edge III is similar in construction and feel to the original Edge locking trem; however, it also features lower profile fine-tuners inspired by the Lo-PRO Edge and massive new-design saddles.

The Edge III features two screws in the arm pocket, which allow easy adjustment of the arm height and torque.

In the last two decades, no other guitar maker besides Ibanez has done so much to advance the art and science of the tremolo. The Edge III represents the next phase in locking tremolos. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Ibanez products.

Sound: has a really nice sound although its more than just the guitar to achieve your sound ;its all the stuff you have behind it of course. Feature: very nice to me ,nice bubinga top and beautiful deep red/purple mahogony beefy body,great tremolo system ,fast neck,back is maple wood feel and rosewood fretboard ,bound fretboard with nice sharktooth inlays 24 extra jumbo frets awesome stuff. Ease of Use: very easy manual ,comes with all the wrenches and etc.no problem at all. Quality: this is Ibanez's best buck buy I assure you you'll keep falling in love with this beauty its the best guitar I ever had ,you have to get this guitar if your on a budget you won't be sorry ,I'm already wanting to buy another for backup. Value: most definetly I own it and have been playing all of my life this guitar is really good. Manufacturer Support: cool deal. The Wow Factor: VERY NICE GUITAR ,I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.
