Ibanez RG370DX Electric Guitar

No longer available at zZounds
The Ibanez RG370DX offers pro features at a great value. The RG370DX offers a speedy Wizard III neck and an Edge Zero II bridge w/ZPS3Fe for tuning stability.

The Ibanez RG370DX electric guitar stands up to the most abusive whammy bar users around. Now featuring the Edge-Zero II tremolo with the Zero Point System, tuning stability is maximized. Lightning fast fretboard work is no problem with the Wizard neck, flat fingerboard radius, and jumbo frets.

Have you seen the headlines? "Guitar rock is back."
Ibanez is happy to hear it. Except at Ibanez, guitar rock never "left" - and if you're the type of player who reads Ibanez catalogs, you've been too busy playing guitar or bass to worry a whole lot about the media's take on music. However, the papers are right about one thing: there are more new guitar and bass guitar styles than ever before. That's why there are more different kinds of guitars and basses in the 2003 Ibanez line up.

I bought this guitar over 2 years ago; I am a contractor and I work in Afghanistan. Went back to the states for R&R and it was waiting for me when I got back to AFG. From day one I fell in love. There was barely any setup involved, just tuned up (of course), locked in the strings and started jamming. Since then I have jumped to different areas of Afghanistan and taken it with me everywhere; to this day she is just as awesome as the first day I got her!
Sound
Sound quality is nothing short of amazing. I have not changed the pickups or altered the setup in any way, except for changing the strings and minor spring adjustments. I play mostly hard rock/metal, and it has never let me down.
Features
I love the Edge III tremolo, everyone has their different opinions of it and of floating tremolos in general, but if know how to maintain them, it really is a great system.
Ease of Use
I have a line 6 100 watt amp and a Zoom G1XN effects box w/pedal, and while I had to learn how to use the Zoom in conjunction with the amp, the guitar itself neve let me down - by this I mean the pickups and volume/treble controls blended right in.
Quality
I believe it was made exceptionally well, and as I said after 2 years it is still just as great as it was out of box. I would love to say it could last foreve, but I don't want to jinx myself lol.

Musical Background:

I have been playing since I was 10 years old, I am now 42. Not proffesionally, just a hobby .

Musical Style:

Anything that rocks - Classic, hard, metal. What the hell is chillwave ragtime?
