Professional features at an affordable price is the cornerstone of Ibanez's Performance guitars. Other major manufacturers only check their instruments in the Performance price range with random inspections before shipping them to stores in the States. But every Ibanez acoustic guitar, from the least expensive Performance model to their top of the line Artwoods, is inspected and set up according to the stringent standards of Ibanez quality control. Ibanez PF5CE Acoustic Customer Review
Quality:
This guitar is made very well. The inside of mine is nice and clean looking, and the wood that is revealed inside of it was put together nicely. The only flaw I see is that a wire seems to hang a little bit but it has no effect on the sound. This guitar is dependable. There are no blemishes. I especially like the neat surface and varnish job on it. The pretty wood grain is nice. I like this guitar. Most of the time I enjoy looking at it, and it's clean and neat varnish job. It is worth more than it's retail price.

Value:
This guitar is worth more than I paid for it. It is a beauty.

Desirability:
It

Sound:
This guitar has a sweet tone. A very nice investment. The quality is great. Sounds good when I play mine.I am not a professional guitarist but I know a winner when I see one.By itself it sounds perfect. This guitar would sound nice with other instruments as well.

Ease of Use:
It is easy to get a wonderfull sound from it.

Support:
I am going to give this a ten because I never needed to contact anyone.

"Excellent guitar, don't overlook it based on price."
Feature:
As mentioned earlier, the electronics are very good. I would like to have seen it come with a strap lug on the body somewhere by the neck.

Quality:
There were two of these in the store, and I played both of them. I found the quality to be consistant between the two. Nice looking. Doesn't say "cheap guitar". Haven't had any problems with finish yet. Tuning heads seem to be of good quality.

Value:
Very good value. Worth the money.

Sound:
I've been shopping acoustics for a few months. Played a number of different models ranging from $150 to $1000+, from Fender to Takamine to Martin and others in between. I'm kind of picky, I guess. Unplugged, this guitar has excellent sound, maybe a tad on the bright side. Different strings might make a difference. Even so, the sound is good, well balanced and fills the room nicely. Plugged in, the sound is excellent as well. Electronics are some of the best that I had used. There is plenty of volume and the output is clean. The EQ and Shaping allows sound to be tailored to fit with about any amp. Tried in the store with Roland acoustic amp and other small acoustic amps. Also works well with my Marshall TSL60.

Support:
Haven't needed support yet.

Overall:
I play mostly electric, so this guitar will fill the need for a while. If it were lost or stolen, I would probably get another. Great first guitar or the one to take out if you need good sound, but don't want to risk your $$$$ Martin.
