Ibanez PF512 12-String Acoustic Guitar (Natural) Reviews

"beautiful, sweet, sound..."
Feature:
it's an acoustic guitar, no bells and whistles. it came with everything it needed.

Quality:
the only issue i had quality-wise is that the frets were still a bit rough on the ends. a bit of redressing and they were good to go. other than the fret thing, i had no other problems.

Value:
worth the money. the only reason i didn't give a ten is that the only way i see to make the value of this guitar any better is to get it free!!

Desirability:
i do wish they would make a rosewood model. i love that sound!

Sound:
as with any other acoustic guitar, the woods used are very important. the other very important factor is the strings. i've had mine long enough to have gone through a few sets and noticed a huge difference. my strings of choice for this guitar? elixir or d'addario.

Ease of Use:
after a slight adjustment to the saddle height, to fit my "druthers", it plays very well.

Support:
haven't had to use it. every stringed instrument i own is an ibanez and i've had no problems that had to be taken up with their customer service.

Overall:
every guitar i own is an ibanez, and the drums i used to play were tama. i've not had any major issues with the company concerning any of the instruments i play/have played. their quality overall is great. there are pricier products, but not necessarilly better ones.

"Worthwhile in sound, appearence, and price."
Feature:
I can't say that I expected more features from this guitar especially when you consider the price! But then again, I'm not one of those people who likes all the electronic options on an acoustic guitar either.

Quality:
I haven't had this guitar all that long so I can't really vouch for the "test of time" reliability but I can say that, to me, it is a very beautiful instrument and I ound absolutely ZERO manufacturing or shipping flaws.

Value:
for the money I don't think it can be beat. Perhaps equaled, but not beat.

Desirability:
I just think that 12 string guitars have a very beautiful, kind of mystique about them to begin with. That to me makes it a neccessary addition to any musiciand arsenal. They just give you that much more versatility.

Sound:
I am not a great guitar player by any means but I am a well trained musician so I know a good sound when I hear it. I also worked at a music store for a few years so I know whats out there. I was given one of these guitars as a gift and I absolutely love it. It suits my needs perfectly, has a great sound and is very responsive to my style of playing which is..well, anything I CAN play. I would suggest this guitar to anyone ho is looking for great sound, great feel, and beautiful looks but isn't really up for spending an extremely large sum of money. In my opinion, it is under-priced for the quality o instrument that you get.

Support:
Don't know...haven't had to worry 'bout that yet!

Overall:
I know that I won't ever look to "replace" this instrument. I think that every instrument reguardless of wheather it is a different brand or the exact same make and model has different characteristics and a diferent feel. Just like snowflakes no two instruments are the same...period. I may someday see another 12 string acoustic that I like that has a different sound, feel and look to it and I might buy it. But, I will never look to replace...just add to.
