The Ibanez M510 mandolin is an A-style instrument with a spruce top, mahogany body and chrome hardware. The mahogany body provides rich warm lows and sweet sustain. It was great to hear that after a nearly twenty year hiatus, Ibanez mandolins have returned to the line-up. These are affordable instruments that are very comfortable and easy to play.

Overall: I had a HORRIBLE time with neck truss rod adjustment to correct G strings fret buzzing...and what a terrible buzzzing.....as for sound, this thing sounds realy good, a nice woody sound and fairly loud...stays in tune after a few tunings over a day or two...it's worth what you pay if you can do truss rod adjustments...
