DiMarzio pickups give a hot sound to the otherwise super-cool Ibanez Iceman. A set mahogany neck and Tight Tune bridge make this a rock-solid axe.

What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
DiMarzio Air Norton neck pickup Deep and warm sound; hotter output
DiMarzio Tone Zone bridge pickup Higher output, wider dynamic range
Tight Tune bridge Hard tail w/ string wrap-around; better intonation
Set-neck construction Solid joinery for great sustain and feel

Sure, Ibanez's Iceman 520 has a flashy body shape, but it has much more to offer to players. Set-neck construction, DiMarzio pickups, and a Tight Tune bridge make this guitar a rock-solid option for hard rock players looking to stand out.

Wicked Cool Edges

The Iceman's dramatic cutaway and flowing body shape make it unlike any other guitar. The Iceman 520 carves that shape from mahogany, making for a guitar with a warm and rich sound. The binding encompasses the body, neck, and headstock and contrasts with any finish you choose, adding a further layer of distinction. Ibanez's Tight Tune bridge and tailpiece make for excellent intonation.

Articulate DiMarzio Pickups

DiMarzio's Air Norton and Tone Zone humbuckers make for one of the most dynamic pickup pairs available to players today. The Air Norton neck pickup has a unique magnetic structure that reduces the pull on strings, giving you a boost in sustain. The Tone Zone is a hot humbucker in the bridge position that's well-suited to high-gain tones and adds depth to single notes.

Set Neck Adds Stability

Set in to the mahogany body is the Iceman's mahogany neck. The decision to join the neck to the body rather than bolt it on adds sustain to single notes and helps promotes the guitar's overall resonance. The neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard that features 22 jumbo frets. You'll have no problem reaching the highest frets, as the Iceman's cutaway practically invites your hands to the top.

I've had my Iceman for a couple of days and have played the crap out of it. It's light for a big guitar and it's beautiful. This Chinese made guitar is incredible. I have multiple Gibsons and Fenders and this is my 3rd Ibanez. It was well worth the cash. Have 8 payments is nice too. I've purchased a half dozen guitars from ZZounds. Great people. Thanks
