Ibanez EDC710 4-String Ergodyn Bass Customer Review

Feature:
ACTIVE EQ BUILT IN!?! YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT! Awesome. Triple coil pickup with 3 set switch. Bright, trad and attack modes. Kicks @$$.

Quality:
I don't know of any problems yet. But I'm sure its gona be nuthin too big. If anything it may be as most people complain about, the jack for the cable. No problemo.

Value:
I payed 650 Canadian but it was on sale from 1600 Canadian

Desirability:
DROOLL

Sound:
This bass is freakin amazing. I love it. I played it in the store with my friend. We've been playing for about a year each and hes a bit better than me and watching the stuff he could do on it, I found myself able to play the same. So many different tones possible. Infinate possibilities.

Support:
Havent had to use it

Overall:
KICK ASS BASS JUST BUY IT!

"Not Bad... Not Too Good Though"

Feature:
Well first of its made from luthite (like fiberglass) which is supposed to make it lighter, but its pretty heavy, even for a bass guitar.

Quality:
I've heard a story about a guy who had a simillar model, he dropped it by mistake, and it broke in half. It's believable since it IS made of fiberglass, which wouldn't stand a hard fall. In my experience, an internal wire has come loose twice and had to b resoddered, which is a pain in the ass. The worst thing has to b the battery, which has to be replaced often if you forget to detach the amp cord from the guitar like I often do.

Value:
It was overpriced in my opinion, since it kept falling apart and whatnot... plus you could get a guitar for cheaper thats just as good or better.

Desirability:
The body is sexy. The colour is disgusting.

Sound:
This bass has a wide range of tone, you can get pretty much any sound from it - as long as you have a 9volt inserted in the body.

Support:
Well once i had to bring it in to get the truss rod adjusted, but that wasnt ibanez who did the job, it was the guy at the place i bought it at.

Overall:
Right now i want to sell it and buy maybe an ESP? i dunno, but this time i'm gonna research alot more, instead of buying a guitar the first time i see it. I do not recommend this guitar, but its you're choice.
