Ibanez AWD83 Artcore Semi-Hollowdody Electric Guitar Reviews

8 People rated this product :

"If angels could incarnate into guitar form...."
Feature:
I can't really say what could make it better. All I can say is it's great for me, it has everything I need and nothing I don't

Quality:
The workmanship on this guitar is flawles. Inspite of a few scraches it's gotten over the past few years I've had it, I still get complements, some people are even in awe of how gorgeous it is, I kind of am too. It's surprisingly sturdy for a semi-hollow body, it doesn't have any nics or dents even though mine should have several. I don't see it getting too hurt if it should accedentaly fall from a small height. I've never had any trouble with the electronics, and I don't plan on it any time soon. This thing is quality, I plan on having it in the family long after I'm gone.

Value:
This guitar is worth much more than it's price, I'm glad it's not costly though, because under any other circumbstances I wouldn't have ever gotten my hands on a guitar like this.

Desirability:
It's sleek, and contured, a winning combo. Other than that, it has pearl block inlays, and a beautiful finish, I could go on but anything you could say about it's looks would be an understatment.

Sound:
This guitar can be warm, bright, or anything in between. It's very versitile, I can't think of a genre that this guitar wouldn't be perfect for. It also has great sustain, with a little distortion you could hit a note and keep it going for days.

Ease of Use:
One tone knob, one volume knob, and a three way pickup selector, as far as electronics go, it doesn't get much simpler than that. It very playable, it has such a smooth neck I can't realy get over it. It has an adjustable bridge, but the action on mine was perfect when I bought it. restringing it took some getting used to for me, it's kinda hard to explain, the string sort of go through the opposite way of normal strings, you'll see when you buy it, it's not a ptoblem though.

Support:
I rated support a five because I don't know how it is, I've never had to contact the company.

Overall:
A ten, plain and simple. This guitar is so great that I'm looking to buy more artcore guitars, and can't wait to get it/them.
