Taking a "modern approach to acoustic guitar tradition," the Ibanez Artwood Series of acoustic instruments has long been a source of pride and a labor of love. Now with the Artwood Vintage Series, Ibanez looks to the past for inspiration in the development of historically influenced instruments.

With its dreadnought body style, the AVD4 is a an inspiration from the past that resulted in the development of new historically influenced instrument. It features a solid mahogany top, mahogany back and sides, and a soft "V" shape satin-finished Mahogany neck that joins the body at the 12th fret. It produces a full-balanced sound with thick, rich lows and articulate highs.
