The Dynamic Combination of The Cruiser and AT-1 Humbuckers

Utilizing the AT10P's two tone knobs -- one for your neck and middle pickups, and the other for your bridge pickup -- and your five-way pickup selector blade will really get you a wide range of tones. With the neck pickup engaged, a warm, bold, and bluesy tone comes through. Combining your neck and middle pickups gives you an alluring out-of-phase sound. Your middle pickup by itself projects a warm and brighter tone that cuts through more. Switching to your middle and bridge pickups will get you a more sparkly and funky tone, and your bridge alone has an almost light, crunchy clean that sounds like it's breaking up a little bit when you push your signal.

These Humbuckers Deliver Classic Single-Coil Color

Using individual and combination settings for your read more two DiMarzio The Cruiser single-coil-sized humbuckers really gives your AT10P a "Strat-like" tone that's biting and warm at the same time. This darker tone cuts through because of a perceptible higher output. Your Cruisers have a single-coil color to them, and when they're used together, you get that characteristic out-of-phase sound.

A Smooth and Secure Maple Neck

Talk about security and comfort -- your one-piece maple neck and its 22 jumbo frets is smooth to the touch with Ibanez's premium fret edge treatment. You'll really take in the silky and even edges as your fingers traverse this axe's neck. The KTS Titanium rods add stability, security, and increase this baby's resonance as your playing transfers over into your AT10P's alder body. A stable neck means longer intonation and longer spans of time before needing to get a set-up.

Durable Wilkinson WV6-SB Bridge

An unreliable bridge can breed nightmares for guitarists who like to bend and push their strings hard. If you throw a whammy bar into the mix, then intonation becomes an even greater issue. Your AT10P's intonation will be consistent, and your notes' sustain will linger with this axe's reliable Wilkinson WV6-SB bridge. You'll enjoy a smooth and relaxed whammy feel that'll keep you focused on your playing without distraction.

Ibanez AT10P Andy Timmons Signature

Ibanez proudly introduces this Andy Timmons signature. The AT10P Premium Series guitar is built with the hardworking pro in mind and is recognized as the ultimate workhorse axe for the gigging player.

The AT10P's neck is a digitally replicated version of a worn vintage neck on one of Timmons' favorite guitars. The 22 jumbo frets have rounded tips and a gleaming polish, and the only adornments on the slab maple fingerboard are black position dots. A four-bolt joint attaches the neck to the gloss-finished alder body, and this area is rounded for an easy reach to the top frets. DiMarzio pickups are in the classic single/single/humbucker configuration. The bridge pickup is a custom Andy Timmons AT-1 with alnico 5 magnets-a design he has been using since 2001. The neck and middle pickups are hum-cancelling The Cruiser models that feature side-by-side coils and ceramic magnets. They have more output and are voiced for greater low-end emphasis. They feed a master Volume control, a pair of Tone pots and a 5-way selector. The Wilkinson WV6-SB features not only tuning stability but also rich resonance. Hard shell case included.

The AT10P is a no-nonsense, workingman's guitar for players who like the formula of Traditional style with hot rod spec.

Hot and greasy fat sounds are this guits flavor. I needed something a little darker and grittier than my traditional strats...which I love. Roll back the tone a bit on the timmons bridge humbucker and whale away. I still can dial in the quack when needed or dial in the neck pickup for slippery tones. Wait until you get a load of the neck. Not much out there like it. Awesome playability. A nice looker too. Great build.
