For over 30 years, the classic Artist design has provided a real, high quality alternative to "the other famous mahogany double humbucker." The more recent ARX and ART single cutaway offer new, striking finishes, active pickups and more modern variations on the set-neck Artist theme at unprecedented low prices.

Sound: The two pickups are unusual, they are quite loud and sound a little distorted. Feature: No coil tapping. Overall: Unblemished instrument with a meaty neck and a thin body. The maple top on my guitar is unbelievable, it has symmetrical grain patterns on either side of the maple top. Mine looks so much better than the guitar in the photo. The guitar just rips, the pickups are loud and really help break the amp up so it is easy to get a smooth distortion. For clean sounds just drop the volume on the guitar down to 6.

FINISH IS GORGEOUS. ACTION WAS WELL SET UP, BELIEVE IT OR NOT. Value: GOOD VALUE FOR THE PRICE Manufacturer Support: NEVER NEEDED IT, I OWN FOUR IBANEZ AXES NO NEED TO CALL IN ANY CONCERNS.
