The AR220 line recalls the excitement of those early days by recreating the style and flexibility that is truly Ibanez. From black leather on a rock stage, to a tuxedo in an intimate jazz club, the beautiful gloss finish and gold hardware of the AR220 allows it to easily fit into any musical environment.

At the heart of this AR is a double cutaway Mahogany body/Maple top tone wood combination with a set-in Mahogany neck. A bound Rosewood fingerboard with Pearl/Abalone block inlays combines a look of elegance with a comfortable feel. Each ACH pickup includes a Tri-sound switch for selecting series, parallel and coil tap wiring options to create a wide variety of tonal possibilities. Add the functionality of Sure Grip III Knobs, ART-1 bridge and the Quik Change Ultra tailpiece for an axe that responds to every command.
