Ibanez has energized the hollowbody segment with a wide selection of designs that run from rockin' hybrids to straight-up jazz-boxes. Now in its second year, the Expressionist line is writing yet another chapter in the Artcore story.

Built with tonewoods selected for their beauty as well as their musicality, the Expressionist line covers every style of music Ibanez hollow and semihollow bodies are known for.

The fully-hollow AG95 features a select figured bubinga top, back, and sides, and handsome ivory binding on the body, headstock, and fretboard. An expertly crafted three-piece mahogany/maple set-in neck ensures body liveliness and is fitted with a rich rosewood fretboard with silky contrasting pearl block inlays.

Jazz fans will recognize the Ibanez original Super 58 Custom pickups--the preferred pickup George Benson, Pat Metheny, and John Scofield use in their signature models. These pickups provide warm, balanced articulation and excellent response and sound at home in a variety of genres.

I am still shaking my head as to how Ibanez can craft such a fine guitar as this and sell it at this price point. When I strum my instrument , it makes overtones that just caress my ears. The action is smooth as glass up and down the fret-board. I use D'Addario XL Chromes12/52 and they sound fabulous. I can't imagine a better value.
