The AEL offers the largest body of the Ibanez AE acoustic-electric guitars, making it particularly well suited for unplugged as well as plugged-in live performance.
Large and deep AEL body for bigger sound even when unplugged. Flamed maple top and maple body for clearer highs and projection. New 12-string model (AEL2012E) has classic, more pronounced sound. Fishman electronics—the best-known name in acoustic amplification.

Feature:
The pick up seems ok but I am not confident about its durability.
Quality:
It looks intact but there were some blemishes that I noticed at the back center line piping and in the bridge. It looks like that it will last but I will closely monitor its performance. I think it would be good for on the road performances. Again when you tune the strings on standard pitch the neck tends to bow considering that it is 12 string, but it should not be the case. It should be designed to take the pressure.
Value:
I was on time and I got sale price of the product. I guess i got the value of my money as compared to other guitar brands.
Desirability:
Just right.
Sound:
The sound is great. It fits to the music I like to play, country and folk.
Ease of Use:
It is very much playable. Am fond of 12 string guitars and this is my best so far. I just wanted a guitar so that the distance of the neck or fret board and the string is just enough so that less effort is exerted play it. The neck should be adjusted right away and low enough so that i wont adjust it myself anymore.
Support:
The seller/company were very nice, friendly and they were very accomodating. They let me to lookat the product first and encourage me further to play, but I guess to attract more customers. no service experience yet.
Overall:
At the moment I have plans of replacing it. I just acquired it very recently. But I guess it will be for keeps.
