Product Description

Designed by the same German engineers behind the Triamp and Vortex, Edition Blue combos are loaded with pro features that are just not found in amps this size. Premium Jensen speakers, tone-loaded 'Current Feedback' power amp sections, and classic blue backlit Plexiglass control panels make the 'Blues' some of the coolest, best performing compact amps Hughes and Kettner have ever made. Edition Blue combos also feature switchable preamp sections that flip from fat and clean to over-the-top overdrive, 3-band EQ, a very smooth internal spring reverb, effects loop, CD input, headphone output, and footswitch jack. The Edition Blue 30 is a 30 watt amp with a 10 in. vintage Blue Jensen speaker.

Sound: I am very pleased with the overdrive/lead tone of this amp. It doesn't have the cheap distortion sound you might expect for something in this price range. Feature: Nice to see an effects loop is there if I ever decide to use it. Quality: Visually perfect; but some kind of corner blocking piece came out from inside the cabinet the first time I left the house with it. The cabinet is still rock solid, but a part falling out is not something you like to see. Value: Worth every penny Manufacturer Support: no contact with manufacturer The Wow Factor: The backlighting is cool too Overall: I believe this amp will serve me well for practice, band rehearsal, recording.
