Sound: How would you characterize the sound of this product?Like a rolling river with a huge arse wall behind it, it dont stop for no one. What about the sound quality? The Rolls Royce Of Bass Cabinets How does the sound respond to your playing? It's there and it's solid as a rock. Is the sound expressive? Does the product help you achieve the sound you are looking to get?The facts are there that the player who has the most toys WIN!But you still gotta know how to play to achieve this Do you have any tips to make this product sound better? I dont I think it is fine but i am the drummer The bass player sez the grill needs to be more firm as it rattles at high decimals, which you can only hear on recordings with an exceptional good ear. I can hear it but its no big deal with me but he is perfeccionists type player.

"Ripping Ampeg a new one."

Sound: I bought this cabinet almost a full year ago, and it's still standing strong. I couldn't afford the god of bass we call Ampeg, although I now own an Ampeg SVT3 Pro Head. For a year I played as the bassist for a metalcore band, including a full month of touring the East Coast. I have never once had a single problem with this cabinet, this includes the time some jackass from a venue in New York dropped it down a flight of stairs and onto the gravel road below. I refuse to purchase the Ampeg 810 until the warranty, and parts go bad on this one, if that ever happens. It's sound is completely phenomonal, unmatched by cabinets of similar price. The only thing left to be desired is the rattling grill, wich can be fixed by placing your own cloth cover over the speakers, or further tightening the grill. Simple. Feature: The casters have yet to fail me, and you don't want to know what i've dragged it through. The side handles are very practical, and useful. The carpet shell isn't beautiful, but it's tough. Ease of Use: it's an 810. you're paying for alot of weight, alot of power. alot of very good, warm, rich power. Quality: They probably should have kept individual soldiers in these during D-Day. Value: best price for your money, no kidding. Gives Ampeg a good run. The Wow Factor: it's a beautiful peace. If the shell was just a tough black, other than the carpet, it would be PERFECT. Overall: i hate the fact that it's not American. That's all I have to say about that.
