Hartke LH500 Bass Amplifier Head (500 Watts)

Get serious bass with the Hartke LH500. With a 12AX7 tube preamp and solid-state output, the Hartke LH500 head strikes the ideal balance of tone and power.

The Hartke LH500, like its big brother, has a classic 12AX7 Class-A tube front-end design with a solid-state output. Developed with the HyDrive cabs in mind, the LH500 also has more than enough power and tone control to drive any cabinet on the market. The Hartke LH500 provides you with Treble and Bass Shelving to give its warm tone a little edge - or use the bright and limiter switches to further sculpt your sound. The Hartke LH500's intuitive front panel also makes adjustments on the fly a breeze.

The LH500 packs a big punch in a portable, roadworthy package. A two-rackspace metal frame chassis, steel faceplate and handles allow for easy, safe transport from gig to gig. With the needs of modern bass players largely centered around volume and versatility, the Hartke LH500 is an ideal solution that gives you plenty of options to create the exact sound you're looking for.

10/10
Sound
This amp sounds incredible out of the box, extremely warm with a crisp tube tone offering Mesa like clarity with a stable response from the power section
Features
"The Bright Switch" kicks any amp into "Modern Mode" allowing for the Mids of any instruments to shine through the mix. Tube warmth is lost in compensation for clarity. The limiter seems to cut the power section while adding a transparent compression allowing users to dial the amp volume to max without blowing a cab speaker.
Ease of Use
Plug and PlayWith a 3 Dial EQ, users can set it and forget it.
Quality
This amp is built out of military grade materials; I'm convinced!Nothing but Solid SteelThe amp is incredibly light. maybe 10lb max.
Value
I've used this for church I've also used this for metal and Funk gigs. it does everything right
Manufacturer Support
I've no reason to contact Hartke unless I where to provide a 5-star review
The Wow Factor
This amp is sleek, blends in and sell the "Professional Musician" look.Without being too flashy. This amp lets the audience really admire the total bandwidth of the Class A EQ by not advertising it It just sounds good.
