The C stands for Classic! Shape your bass tone with blendable tube and solid-state preamps, a 10-band graphic EQ, contour knobs, and a built-in compressor.

Found on stages all over the world, the Hartke 3500 bass amplifier is back in classic black. Yet, it retains all the same rock-solid performance and features as the original that have made it one of the most popular bass amplifiers of all time. The 3500's unique circuitry ensures that every nuance of your bass performance is faithfully reproduced.

Featuring two Pre-Amp input knobs, allowing custom blending of tube and solid state tone, and ten-band graphic EQ, the 3500 is ideal for the player who wants plenty of power and control. A dedicated preset button allows you to set a equalization curve and two fully adjustable contour knobs provide even more shaping of your distinctive sound. A built-in compressor adds real "punch" to your bass sound, and also allows you to smooth out volume differences between notes.

Rugged construction and professional features make the 3500 totally road-worthy. Two independent inputs accommodate both passive and active bass guitars. LEDs that show you the settings of the graphic equalizer in low-light environments as well as a two-color LED that continuously shows the status of the compression circuitry in response to your playing. Electronically balanced direct output provides routing signal to professional mixing consoles for both live performance and recording environments. A ground lift switch helps prevent hum or buzz from entering the signal, and a pre/post switch allows the direct signal to be derived either before or after the amp EQ section. read more

I like the Hartke line of products. If and when it needs replaced I will probably see what Hartke is currently making and purchase another Hartke.
Sound
Quality Bass Amp. Used with my Hartke 410XL.All I need for the music I play and with the 350 watts this baby is loud. The EQ band is great. Too much to mention actually. It is very light compared to many other Bass Amps. Easy to dial in to achieve your desired tone although I did spend some time figuring out what I could achieve sound wise.
Features
Too many to list. The compression although functional is minimal. I like the passive and active inputs. My Bass's are passive and the second is active.
Ease of Use
The learning curve is minimal but I had to work at it a while. The insstruction book is helpful, but I need to get my bass in hand and see what this Amp is cabable of. I am not disapointed.
Quality
Peresonally, I feel its a very high quality product. No worries of breaking down any ime soon. I will use this amp daily and gig almost every weekend and then some. So it will get put through the paces. Time will tell but I feel certain that this amp will hold up the the use and abusew of road work.
Value
Absolutely worth what I paid. Great value.
Manufacturer Support
Havent had to use them as yet.
The Wow Factor
Aesthetic appeal is great. Lights in the EQ bars are cool. Nice looking Amp. I likwe the blue lights also on the compression switch. It is a practical addition for my Hartke 410XL.
