Limited Edition Ed Sullivan Ignition Violin Bass. To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles appearance on the Ed Sullivan show Hofner has issued this limited edition instrument. Features include the Ed Sullivan logo emblazoned on the pickguard in addition to the Ed Sullivan name on the back of the headstock. A special "Slow Burst" fade completes this once in a lifetime bass.

Ordered this bass to have a vintage sound for recording. It arrived in perfect condition needing only small tweeks to the intonation. The offer included a case which did not come with it. zZounds service was amazing. Offered several options to make good on the offer. Best customer service ever and awesome gear. I have owned the ICON version and this comes closer to the 60's sound and feel.
