Woody and plucky with a throwback style, the Gretsch G9521 Style 2 Triple 0 Auditorium acoustic has a warm sound that projects well and doesn't get muddy.

Rich in voice and subtle in style, ROOTS COLLECTION Acoustic Guitars represent a level of design, detail and craftsmanship not seen since days long gone. Inspired by tradition, yet rooted in pure Gretsch sensibility, these instruments speak with voices that harken back to a bygone era of "living room" choruses and prairie melodies.

True in sound and craft, the G9521 Style 2 Triple-0 slothead guitar rings clear with a quick, articulate note response and a crisp bass that is never "muddy". Perfect for the finger-style player, this model shines in balance while projecting a surprisingly strong tonal "throw."

Very glad I picked this guitar up. The finishing is not good, but for the most part looks great. Very nice for fingerpicking. The wide spacing near the saddle leaves tons of room for the fingers. Action was set well right out of the box.
