Hear what Patrick Stump has to say about the STUMP-O-MATIC:

Three ripping Mega'Tron pickups give your sound plenty of edge, and can be combined in multiple configurations with the built-in rotary switch. Blend the pickups, and you get a number of rich and dynamic tones with minimal effort -- perfect for songs that straddle the anthemic and the rocking. The Stump-O-Matic's unique cutaway is excellent for wailing on the higher frets, and its mahogany set-in neck is plenty fast when you want to mix up your playing on more complex passages.

Gretsch G5135PS STUMP-O-MATIC Guitar

From the heart & soul of guitarist/frontman Patrick Stump (of the multi-platinum selling & award winning band Fall Out Boy) comes the G5135-PS Patrick Vaughn Stump Signature Series Gretsch Stump-O-Matic Electromatic CVT Guitar. The vision Patrick had in mind was a versatile solid body guitar capable of discharging not only classic biting Gretsch tones but also an array of thick, fat, colorful bombastic sonic blasts at the flick of a switch. It took the genius mind of Tom "TV" Jones to develop the circuit design that brought Patrick's dream guitar to life.

I ordered this guitar because i wanted something that just felt right being in my hands and i couldn't of picked a better guitar. FIrst off when you get this guitar out of the box you just get stunned at the style and feel of the guitar. It is light as hell and around only a inch thick. the action is just right and the neck is the perfect feel of thick but not too thick. The sounds is perfect for any style of music but when you activate that 3rd pick up its a whole new sound. So deep and full of heart. i couldn't of picked a better guitar for a overall genre sound.
