Manufacturer's Description for Guild GADJF30 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar (with Case)

The Guild GAD-JF30 was designed utilizing the jumbo maple body that has been in the Guild® line since 1954. Guild uses solid flamed maple for the back and sides, a solid spruce top that features scalloped bracing, and then joined the one piece mahogany neck with the traditional dovetail neck joint.

For other appointments on the GAD-JF-30 they use ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. Guild continued the use of ebony for the pearl dot inlayed bridge and strap pins, then added wood bindings, and Grover Rotomatic tuning gears. For the best in tone and intonation, they installed a bone nut and bone compensated saddle.

For the finishing touches they inlayed classic pearl fingerboard inlays and then pack the instrument in a wooden arched case. A guitar worthy of representing over 50 years of fine guitar building by Guild Guitars. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Guild products.

Guild GAD-JF30 Jumbo Customer Review
Sound: Sound quiality is not bad; however, you can find a better sounding guitar for less. Like Martin guitars, their cheapest model sounds as good as this guitar. Considering the price, the sound is not so good. Feature: It came with a nice vintage looking hard shell case. I love it. The biggest problem with guitar is that this guitar is very difficult to store. Quality: This is a beautiful looking guitar. All of my friends like it. Now, here is the problem: I keep it in the case when I don't play it, but the guitar's body cracked TWICE! The first time was 1 month after I bought it. The second time was 3 month after I exchanged it with a new one! I have never had this kind of troubles before, so I believe something is wrong with the guitar construction... Value: I expect more from this guitar. This is not a cheap guitar, but the guitar construction isn't good enough. I guess most of the money went to cosmetics. Sure it does look good. However, if you want a guitar which you can use for a long time, buy something else. Manufacturer Support: I would say that their service is good because they sent me a new guitar very soon. However, it is the best if I did not have to use this service...
