i bought this guitar because i haven't owned a quality acoustic in quite a few years. i used ton have a beautiful gibson, but for one reason or another i traded it for a lesser instrument...a process i repeated a number of times until i wound up with the $200 carlo robelli that ive been gigging with for the last 8 years.having said that, i also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars because even with the awesome pay to play that zzsounds offer, i just don't have that money. i've also wanted a guild ever since i started playing.comfort is the name of the game with this guitar. the first song i played on it, i felt like i had been playing this guitar for years already. it was instantly familiar and responsive. the tones are rich and bright and it seems that the lows, mids and highs do not overshadow one another. its got kind of a punchy sound...think paul simons first solo album. when you strum a chord it seems complete, when you pick it doesn't sound too aggressive like a lot of guitars can.the action was set up well, which was a concern considering that i was mistakenly sent the f130 instead of the f130ce originally. the f130 had alot of fret buzz going on for the 10 or 15 minutes i played around with it before packing it back up and returning it to zzsounds.speaking of zzsounds...very good customer service. they responded to my emails within an hour of sending them, gave me an RA number without any interrogating and even shipped the correct model 2 day air at no extra cost.… read more i never had to actually get on the phone and discuss anything with them. no problems at all.
