I've been playing (largely rockabilly) for 40 years. I've owned pretty much every guitar there is to own, Gibsons, Fenders, several Gretsch 6120's and Tennesseean's, and I'm completely blown away by this Guild. Simply put, it gets THE sound. It whispers sex and screams GO, but mostly it has the tastiest twang imaginable. The Bigsby's very responsive, and high enough that I didn't have to remove the pickguard to have a good range. It looks amazing and vintage as hell, but you can see that. If you're reading this, you're thinking about getting one. Quit thinking. BUY one. You know you're gonna. The price is half of what it should be (and probably will be). Enough typing, back to playing.
