Manufacturer's Description for Gibson SG Zoot Suit Limited Edition Electric Guitar (with Gig Bag)

The new Gibson Zoot Suit SG guitar is the ultimate for stage style and playability. The word "Zoot" is jazz slang meaning extravagant style to which this guitar encapsulates. At first glance, one might think that the unique coloration of the Zoot Suit guitar is simply a clever paint scheme. Incredibly though, there is no paint used on the guitar.

Featuring a brand new body built with multiple birch wood laminate, each laminate piece is dyed with a different color then compressed and bonded together to form one solid block of wood. Two coats of satin lacquer are then applied to provide a smooth finish and also help protect the body from any damage. Other catchy characteristics of the SG Zoot Suit guitar include the multicolored neck of the Zoot Suit that also constructed using multiple birch wood laminate pieces, and Gibson's legendary 496R and 500T pickups, which feature clear coil forms to see the copper wire, ceramic magnets, and plenty of wire for the screaming' hot pickups.

This guitar is one of 2009's most standout and exciting guitars and produced in limited quantity. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Gibson products.

"Gibson Zoot,I fit this suit"

Sound: While the pickups are hot they can be set up for rock or blues Feature: Standard sg features.One volume and 1 tone only which I prefer. The features are less in the mechanics thaqnin the body which is unique and in my eyes gorgeous, I didnt like the no marker neck tho so I had some dots added and Im galad i did, Ease of Use: All straightforward, Tunersw work nicely,Just getting used to the sound vis a vis my amp Quality: The body should have been polished smoother, The nuck is fine.Ebony is beautiful.all seems solid Value: For 959,Im happy Manufacturer Support: havent had to deal woth them byt the neck dots i put in probably fry the warranty The Wow Factor: In my view it is very fetching. As a 60s survivor it seems perfect. Overall: Overall plays well,good action and tone.Im sure it will outlive me.It is a tad heavy if they could fix that with some routing like they did on the les paul
