Simple and elegant, the Gibson SG Junior is a guitar only Gibson can do. Set neck? You bet! Nitro Lacquer? Right... what's not to love? Gibson's new baked maple fingerboards have the tactile feel and response of ebony, but with a very traditional warm, brown finish. They're extremely stable, fast and smooth.

"my first love"
I learnsd to play on a old silvertone guitar. When I purchased I learned that I was more than a beginner. I was a teen when I purchased this guitar new for $180.00 andhave had it ever since. The sound is great. The ease of moving up and down the neckis like a smooth ride in a expensive car.
