Sublime look of granadillo back and sides plus an Amulet M pickup. This exclusive J-45 is handcrafted using a solid Sitka spruce top and, for the first time, granadillo back and sides. The smooth mahogany neck features the famous Slim Taper profile for comfort and ease in playability in each position up the neck, making it perfect for open first position chord strumming or delicate fingerstyle playing in any register. For an added touch of elegance, the headstock is finished with a granadillo veneer, complementing the classic Grover gold tuners, which sport a superior gear ratio, making sure your instrument stays in tune. Matching granadillo is used for the fingerboard and bridge for full custom detail.

This limited edition is sure to stand out with a burst finish, a color used on exclusive instruments and developed for 2016 by Gibson's master luthiers in Bozeman. For plugged in playing, Trance Audio's Amulet M analog pickup system provides superbly accurate amplification of the guitar's natural acoustic tone. The picture does not do this guitar justice. When I opened the case I felt it was a piece of art work and like the other person commenting, I was hesitant to pull it out of the case. Once I gained the nerve to play the instrument it voiced beautifully. One of those that you just don't want to put down. It did need a set-up to my liking and the stock strings didn't last too long (I did play it a lot though). Nice case to compliment the guitar along with some strings and a few other goodies. It's nice to know I own something they only made 75 of and it's a good investment financially and musically.
