Product Description

Like his friend and mentor Joe Perry, Slash's concept of what makes a great Les Paul has changed greatly since the original Custom Shop Slash model of the late '90s. The new Slash Signature model focuses on utility over elegance. The plain maple top and Custom Authentic finish combine with Duncan Alnico Pro II humbuckers and a Fishman Powerbridge (which can be used by itself or blended with the Duncans) to create an instrument that covers all the tonal bases.

Gibson's Custom, Art & Historic division and legendary rock guitarist Slash have teamed up to bring a new acoustic personality to the sunburst Les Paul Standard that Slash was so closely identified with as a member of the group Guns 'N Roses. Per Slash's spec, the Slash Les Paul features a pair of conventional Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pickups plus a Fishman Power Bridge unit in the bridge.

Slash is an incredibly soulful player, and his signature guitar embodies both his fondness for traditional rock guitar solos and his own creative muse. Guitarists will love the new world of tonal possibilities he's opened up with the Slash Les Paul.

Additional features of the Slash Les Paul that reflect his personal preferences include a slim-taper neck with a "Slash custom" profile, a Custom Authentic aging treatment on the Dark Tobacco 'Burst finish and nickel-plated hardware, and vintage tulip-style tuners. A mini 3-way switch controls selection between acoustic and electric pickups. The guitar comes with a Custom Shop Les Paul case and Custom care kit. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Gibson products.

"amazing electric guitar"
Sound: what i would do is put a pick guard on it because unless you are the amazing slash you will get your guitar scrached Feature: PICKGUARD Value: it is defenitally worth it price it has great sound The Wow Factor: great Overall: it is a great guitar with great sound and i would love to see it at a higher rate
