These Burstbucker pickups give you that classic PAF tone without the hassle of soldering any wires, thanks to Gibson's easy-to-use Quick Connect design.
Overview
The Gibson Quick Connect Burstbucker Pro Humbucker Pickup gives you that fat, meaty PAF tone you desire without the need to solder anything! Many of the newer Gibson USA guitars are come wired with the QC Control Panel Assembly needed to install the Quick Connect pickups. Only a screwdriver is required to remove the pickup mounting rings, then simply unplug the current pickup, and plug in your new tone!
Control Panel Board Conversion Kits and separate clips are available for quick install with older Les Paul and SG guitars.
The Gibson Burstbucker Pro pickup's characteristic sweet harmonic complexity and crystalline clarity derive from its slightly unmatched bobbin windings. Alnico 5 magnets are used in place of the traditional Alnico 2 yielding fatter, meatier tone with more drive and attack and provides classic Gibson 'Patent Applied For' tone with a hint of attitude. Extra noise reduction keeps things quiet even with a high-gain rig.
