Creating the Gibson Custom Shop ES390 Electric Guitar is relatively simple, first take the popular small body ES339 and remove the solid center block to make it a true hollowbody. The Gibson Custom Shop ES390 Electric Guitar utilizes a pair of Gibson USA mini-humbuckers inside a 3-Ply maple and poplar body, and slap on a vintage style trapeze tailpiece and you have a highly resonant small bodied Gibson hollowbody that feels as good as it sounds.
