I purchased a 2014 Gibson USA SG Special from zZounds new in 2014 in less than 5 months the screw head just snapped off on the intonation screw for my g string, it wasn't slammed all the way back, it was still pretty close to center so it wasn't over tightened one way or another, also the factory bridge had the groves in each string riser and it also had a bigger diameter stud on the bridge bolts ( just like on Epiphones it just didn't have the wire that holds the screws in the bridge like Epiphone does ) and it was replaced with a nashville tom bridge that looks just like this nashville bridge from zZounds, I don't know it Gibson got a hold of zZounds and had them send me the replacement bridge or if they sent it from Gibson USA factory but it is identical to this nashville bridge, no slots cut in the string risers so it does resonate longer ( stock Gibson bridge about 6 seconds replacement nashville bridge at least 12 seconds ) and it shouldn't break strings as bad as the grooved tune o matic bridges do ( I never did break a string with the factory bridge but I know people who have had problems with grooved factory bridges ) But so far this is superior to the stock Gibson USA bridge that came on my USA SG
