The Monterey Elite features a carved 5-A Canadian flame maple top, mahogany body and tapered set-neck, split trapezoid pearl inlays in a rosewood 22-fret fingerboard, Grover tuners, Graph Tech Trem Nut, Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge, Seymour Duncan JB pickup in the bridge position, and a Fernandes Sustainer in the neck position.
