A combination of tone and styling with powerhouse pickups that boast plenty of midrange chirp, crystal highs and tight bass along with increased output. The legendary tone and styling of the iconic Strat is very much alive in the Fender Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar. The Fender Strat is arguably the most influential and widely recognized guitar in music and Fender went to great lengths to bring that power and vibe to the modern day in the Standard Stratocaster.

The beefy powerhouse that redefined the Texas blues sound! The Fender Custom Shop Texas Special Strat Single Coil Pickup Set boasts plenty of midrange chirp, crystal highs and tight bass along with increased output. These overwound calibrated Stratocaster pickups use alnico 5 magnets and enamel coated magnet wire. The middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum canceling in positions 2 and 4. The Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickup set includes all mounting hardware.

The Fender Standard Stratocaster guitar offers that instantly recognizable Fender tone from three single-coil pickups, covering anything from country to funk to rock and more! The 2015 Standard Strat's are exceptional. The bundle package here is icing on the cake. I know Fender had a price increase (499$ to 599$) but the Texas Special pick-ups are 198$. Even at the old price of 499$ you could not get this good a deal with Custom Shop pick-ups(499$ plus 200$ for TS Pickups = 699$) Truth be told I am very well pleased with the playability of this guitar. If doing a blindfold test I would guess it an American Strat. The sound quality of this Strat is also top-notch for the price range with the stock pick-ups. When I use the phrase in this price range I would define that as a 599$ to 899$ range. I was very impressed with the ceramic magnets but the TS pick-ups in my opinion are an excellent upgrade.
