Frontman amps deliver quality tone at a great price, with custom-voiced built-in overdrive for great tone and the unmistakable Fender Blackface look. The 10-watt Frontman 10G features a 6-inch Special Design speaker and a selectable gain control that can rock guitar tones from tube-emulated overdrive to full-strength ultra-saturated distortion; perfect for blues, metal and the famous Fender clean tone. Closed-back design gives a heavier bass response; the 1/8-inch input lets you play along with your media player of choice; and the 1/8-inch headphone output is great for silent practicing. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Fender products.

Sound: Very good amp for a student. Feature: This comment is not so much of a knock on the amp as much as it is a note that when using your treble and bass tuners, you have to get used to the fact that your guitar may sound out of tune. It took my son a bit to make the adjustments.

Sound: Ok, first things. I don't play guitars of any kind. I purchased this for use in my Phys Ed class. I use a mic receiver and an iPod. I have a huge gym and never have needed this over 7 or 8 for the kids to hear me talk. Probably could for a practice studio, but not on stage. Feature: Did not come with an audio input cord. Ease of Use: Plug in and go. Quality: Superb Value: Great quality. Made well Manufacturer Support: Have not dealt with the company. The Wow Factor: Not the "sexiest" piece of equipment, but chrome looks nice. Overall: I will continue to use this until it dies.
