Sound: The sound quality is great. Fender deff. has the best clean sound out there. Iv never been a fan of fenders distortion till now, because i play a lot of metal. You can actually play heavy metal on this......a first for fender! But I also really like the tone of the mild distortion. I play a lot of blues and fusion as well, and you can get a nice twangy mildly distorted sound. o ya, 160 watts!!!!! kicK A$$ Feature: The DSP effects are awsome. Better than some pedals I own. I really like the quality of the flanger and delays. There are various types of reverb, and they all sound very good, except i dont like the "room" one....It just doesnt do much. Quality: Great quality. Very road worthy...except for one thing. The cloth grill is a little loose. so be careful of tearing it. Value: Kinda expensive, but not to horrible...I feel its worth it. The sound quality cant be beat. Iv used crate, marshall, peavey, and even an old gibson amp. The clean channel is amazing (as always for fender) and like i said before, the distortions are real nice this time around. Manufacturer Support: Never dealt with them, but iv heard good. The Wow Factor: no auto wah....of course its rare to c that on amps. But when i played it in the store, i decided to buy it within the hour. Overall: no auto wah, and it can be to loud to play at night. even on volume lvl 1 its loud lol.

Sound: The clean sound is great, you can add different types of digital reverb (built in) to get great clean and blues sounds. There are two separate distortions that can sound anyway you like with the amp modling. I had a major problem with hum when I turned the distortion up - so much that the bad stopped practice a few times. I thought it was my guitar but I found out my guitar is fine on other amps and other guitars do the same on this amp. A humbucker pickup helps a little but it's still pretty loud. This could be a defect with my particular amp. Also, I could never EQ the highs right, there was always a spike around the 4k-8k level that makes a hight pitched whistle. If I turned down the highs I lost the balance and tone I was looking for. I was recording the amp with a SM57 half way between the center and rim of the cone, moving the mic to the center of the cone might help sound. The problem with the highs was minor compared the hum though, it was borderline unrecordable because of the hum. Feature: There are a ton of sounds you can get from this amp. You can really get any style you want from it. There are also lots of digital effects. The more I played this amp the more I realized I didn't need this many features though. I basically use three sounds - clean, a little distortion, and lots of distortion. I really don't need to create 100 unique sounds for a show. That's me though. It also has a built in tuner which is nice but wasn't accurate enough for me - I'm anal about intonation. Quality: The construction is pretty burly. The casters are great because the thing ways a ton, going up and down stairs is never fun. All the connections are good and everything lines up flush. I'm not sure if my "hum" is a quality control issue though. Value: The value is relative to how much you want the effects. Since I'm basically never using the digital effects or tuner and leaving the amp modeler and reverb the same all the time I'm not getting the best value out of it. If you're looking for an amp that can get tons of different sounds then there's good value here. I would have rather payed $500 for a great sounds instead of $500 for pretty good sound and a lot of effects. Manufacturer Support: I've never used it but I'm sure Fender is good. The Wow Factor: It's a good looking amp. The 2 x 12" speakers look better than a single would. Overall: This is a decent amp if you want a lot of effects and different sounds. The place I bought this amp from is letting me return it because of the hum. I owned the amp for 6 months and I'll be getting a different amp with my return money. I realized I don't need DFX on an amp so I'm going with a standard Marshall half stack. I would recommend going with a bigger amp if you doing a lot of gigs or a smaller amp (even a smaller Fender stage) if your just practicing or playing with friends.
