In 1993, Fender released the 'Tweed' series amps to great success and acclaim. The concept: what if a great old collectable 1950s Deluxe or Bassman was customized with channel switching and Reverb. The Blues Deluxe and Blues DeVille were launched as vintage-styled tube amps with 'boutique' tone at mass-produced prices, and many pro players in the rock, country, and blues fields used them with great results. After a few years, the Blues Deluxe and Blues DeVille were reborn as the Hot Rod Deluxe and Hot Rod DeVille, when they received modified circuitry, a third -More Drive channel, and Black/Silver cosmetic treatment. Though the Hot Rod series amps are more popular than ever today, increasing numbers of enthusiasts continue to request the warm tone, unique circuitry, features and look of the original versions. These 'Reissue' models will be offered in addition to the Hot Rods. The Blues DeVille Reissue produces 60 watts into four 10" blue Alnico-Magnet speakers by Eminence. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Fender products.

Sound: Clear lows (no mud!) and nice highs without being brittle. Feature: Vintage looks and sound with modern features such as effects loop, high and low inputs and two channels. It also handles an 8 ohm extension cab. Quality: Solid build quality. Laquered tweed covering is nice to look at. The AlNiCo Blue speakers are absolutely awsome. Value: $825.00 is a bargain for this amp. Manufacturer Support: I rate it a ten even though I never needed technical assistance from Fender for any of their products (I own several Fender amps, guitars and basses) The Wow Factor: It looks great and sounds great with my guitars and my basses. Overall: Overall, this amp fits my needs perfectly. Its a loud 60 watt amp and handles the lows from my Fender active jazz bass, even at high volumes. Great cleans and nice overdrive.

"an amazing amp!!! thats all i can say"

Sound: ok well i just got this in from an order and am amazed by it except for one thing...the tone, volume, distortion, and everything about it is amazing except mine has a bad cone in one of the speakers. it seems like the paper on the cone isnt pulled tight enough which is causing a rattle. im sure this is just a bad speaker and not a charicteristic of the amp so i wouldnt be worried about it.. all i can say is WOW its an amazing amp!!! Feature: it came with the tweed covering and a two button foot switch which both work wonderfully Ease of Use: couldnt be easier... great instructions and very simple...turn the knob and it gets louder! Quality: everyother deville i've seen are great i think i just got a bad speaker thats all and im sure fender will replace it no questions asked..or well they better lol Value: a bargain...the cometing amps are half stacks and cost tons more than this amp...only 830 bucks and can blow away most tube half stacks Manufacturer Support: cant really rate this one...ive sent and email to them but they havnt open yet so i dont know what their support will be but im sure it will be fine! The Wow Factor: it looks amazing the tweed cover is retro and awesome couldnt get a better looking amp. Overall: once the speaker gets replaced i will love it beyond any doubt!
