I replaced my Blues Jr. NOS with this Princeton, it's a great amp! I've yet to get a bad sound out of it. Tone controls are subtle but effective and so far i'm liking the P10Q much better than the C12n that was in the Jr. The P10Q feels less harsh on the top and has more bass to my ears than the C12n. The reverb is superb. I run a 63' Reverb Unit RI with it and it's great. I wish the Tremolo was a bit more stated like the 68' custom but there's not issue it's awesome, i have a tuna melt if need more or less. Works great with all the drive pedals i've tried which are Wampler Tweed 57', Joyo Vintage OD, Boss DS-2, and Plimsoul. I replaced the standard Blackface knobs with the old style brown "cupcake knobs" and removed the fender badge and it looks super clean! overall i have 0 complaints, yes it is a bit pricey for 12/15 watts and a 10" but for me it's money well spent. I'm using a custom built lefty Telecaster, Jazzmaster, and a couple of SG's and each one sounds awesome. Yes Princetons are scooped and can be a bit thin but that's what i like, i use the tweed 57' for more mids if i need it. Groove Tubes sound fine nothing needs changing to my ears, amp is pretty quiet. i did reverse the reverb tank though! "Comes with a NICE Cover!"
