Ever struggle choosing between two top-performing axes that are tough to beat? Well, Fender has made your decision easier with the Nashville Telecaster electric guitar. This tone-infused baddie harnesses a Tex-Mex Strat pickup sandwiched between a pair of Tex-Mex Tele pickups housed in a medium-weight alder body. This baby also features a one-piece maple neck with 21 medium-jumbo frets for your fingers to traverse. One master volume and master tone knob and the five-way "Strat-O-Tone" pickup selector switch will get you the most out of your Nashville Tele's sound, and a secure and endlessly sustaining U.S. Vintage 6-saddle and strings-thru-body Tele bridge will hold your strings down in comfortable fashion.

A Tex-Mex Tele and Strat Pickup Combination

The unique pickup configuration on this baby really sets it apart from other axes. Your neck pickup captures a thicker, warmer single-coil Telecaster tone that is full of body and presence, and your bridge pickup comes off with a little more sharpness and snap to it. Your middle Strat pickup packs that hot punch you've come to recognize from Fender Stratocasters. It adds a warm yet biting tonal character to your playing. All in all, you get a really nice array of tonal options to work with on this axe -- just what's demanded of a Nashville session player.

Lightweight Alder Body

The alder body on your Nashville Telecaster provides your playing a pleasant sonic canvas of resonance. Alder is quite common on Fender guitars read more because it resonates your lows and mids in a comfortable and inviting presence without straining your back the way heavier woods like mahogany sometimes do. Alder is a great wood to accompany your Tex Mex Tele and Strat pickups by pushing their lows and mids while keeping their brighter tones in check.

One-Piece Maple Neck

This Nashville Tele's one-piece maple neck gives you the unparalleled resonance that only a single piece of wood can offer. Maple resonates a gripping yet controlled brightness to your strings as your fingers comfortably traverse its smooth fretboard of 21 medium jumbo frets. Since the Tele's neck is all one piece, it is literally seamless around its edges, and a guitar's neck can't get any smoother than that.

U.S. Vintage 6-Saddle and Strings-Thru-Body Tele Bridge

Your Nashville Telecaster's U.S. Vintage 6-saddle provides a secure stationing for your strings. The strings-thru-body Tele bridge at the bottom provides an almost seamless transfer of sound from your strings into your Nashville Tele's resounding alder body. Plus, it gives this baby a cool vintage look. What's not to love?

Just awesome.
Sound
That mid pickup really broadens the horizons of this guitar,
Features
This may be the first guitar i have that i most likely wont touch the pick ups. The stock pups sound fantastic.
Ease of Use
What stuck out most for me was the neck. Incredibly playable. I first played one of these at Guitar Denter and it blew my mind how comfortable the neck was. hardly needed a setup.
Quality
MIM teles have always impressed me. They do a great job south of the border.
Value
The price tag on this thing is awesome for what it is.
Manufacturer Support
Never really dealt with fender on that level how ever I will take this time to say if you see something at Guitar Center, its good to try it out but wait till you get home and order it from zzounds. The payment plan is an awesome idea and every time i have ordered from them it has literally arrived the next day with ground shipping (southern california).
The Wow Factor
The neck was really the selling point for me as well as the honey blonde finish. Eventually I got kind of bored with telecasters and moved on to offsets like jazzmasters etc. but this one really sets itself apart in all categories, looks, sounds, action, everything.
