The American Deluxe Stratocaster is the ultimate in high-performance. Classically contoured solid "tone-wood" bodies and new distinctive neck shapes fit like a glove. Other features include three Fender Vintage-Noiseless pickups with hot bridge for extra punch and sustain, polished chrome locking machine heads, American Deluxe tremolo with polished steel saddles, highly detailed fret and nut work, abalone dot inlays, and aged plastic parts.

"Way better then an American Standard"
This is an exceptional value. The noiseless pickups are virtually silent. The locking tuners are easy to use. Candy Tangerine is one seriously sexy color. High gloss headstock, satin finish neck. Wow! Well worth the few extra bucks above a standard. I speak as an owner/player of 1 American Standard, this guitar, and 2 Custom Shop's...this guitar smokes. Unbeatable value. Buy it. Buy it now.

"The Perfect Strat"
The Pickups are noiseless and sound amazing. Great sustain. The body is SOLID with a great finish (teal). The neck is great too. I used to have a standard American strat (tele too) that was a great guitar, but didn't sound half as good as my deluxe. If you're going to buy a standard, consider waiting and saving for Fender's best.
