Great classic features include vintage styling and a thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer finish; modern features include SCN pickups in the neck and middle positions, a DiMarzio® Tone Zone™ bridge pickup, a satin-backed neck with a flatter radius and medium-jumbo frets. Looks, sounds and feel both vintage and brand-new at the same time!

Feature:
The vintage tuners and the vintage trem bridge can't be beat. I have no tuning problems at all. The guitar is lightweight and extremely comfortable. The neck is a shredder's dream, seriously. I'd like to have this neck on every guitar that I own. The SCN pickups combined with the Tone Zone is the best combination every on a Strat.
Quality:
American-made, American ingenuity, American perfection. The only flaw is that my string ferrules on the back of the bridge don't line up with the string holes in the back plate. I haven't changed strings yet but I'm sure that will be easily corrected.
Value:
I think it's somewhat high priced, but you definitely get what you pay for with this guitar.
Desirability:
I wanted it, I saw it, I played it, I bought it.
Sound:
The classic, rock jangle of a Stratocaster with the hot overdrive of a Dimarzio Tone Zone S. Think of a hot rodded John Frusciante Red Hot Chili Peppers tone plus lots of nice R&B slap back funkyness.
Ease of Use:
If you know how to play guitar, you'll play better on this one.

Fender is a busy company but they answered my recent questions when I was in the market for this guitar and another Fender guitar quickly. I belong to the Fender Forum and it's better than any other guitar brand forum I've belonged to in the past.
Overall:
A real guitar made in America that does what it's supposed to do very well. Forget the junk made overseas -- most of those are nothing but props to show off to your girlfriends when they visit your apartment.
