The Fender Vince Ray Voodoo-Bucket 300CE is a limited edition over-the-top rock-and-roll-mayhem-hot-rod-horror-show-pinup-girl machine, and you better believe it puts the dread in dreadnought. You get skulls and skeletons, motorcycles, black cats and serpents, demons and witches, disembodied hands beating bongos from hell, fortunes told and spells cast, stars, flames, headstones and more. In short, you get the mind of Vince Ray himself embodied in a 500-instrument run of guitars that look they jumped straight out of the previews from some drive-in B-movie nightmare.

The Vince Ray Voodoo-Bucket 300CE also happens to be a great-sounding, well-crafted instrument, with features including a spruce top with quarter-sawn scalloped "X" bracing, mahogany back and sides, body binding, bound mahogany neck with Graphtech Nubone nut, rosewood fingerboard with new 12th-fret "F" logo inlay design, rosewood bridge with Graphtech Nubone compensated saddle, strap-pin and end-pin jacks, and Fishman Isys III pickup/active preamp system with built-in chromatic tuner, on/off switch, three-band EQ and volume control. Loved the artwork, but when I received it, I was stunned at how great it sounds, plus all the gigability features (tuner, pickups etc.). I have a few graphically cool guitars that really aren't much for actual professional playing or recording. The Vince Ray Fender compared VERY well against my best acoustic which cost 2.5 times as much. Weird too because Fender is so much more well known for the electric guitars, who'da thunk it. Oh, the fact there are only 500 of these in existence is also a boon. Heck at $349 maybe I'll buy another to sell at a profit in a couple years.
