Eye-Catching, Player-Centric Design

With its intricately grained and striped Malaysian Blackwood top, it's nearly impossible not to make a grand entrance with the Select Chambered Telecaster. Fender designed this model with plenty of more subtle, player-friendly touches as well. The chambered alder body makes for a lighter guitar and the contours on the guitar's back and neck heel ensure a comfortable experience even through marathon jam sessions.

Guitarists who prefer modern neck styles will appreciate the "C" profile of this Telecaster's neck. The compound-radius birdseye maple fretboard flattens out toward the higher frets for ideal grip, whether you're playing rhythm or lead.

A Wide Spectrum of Sound

Outfitted with two Fender Wide Range Special pickups, the Select Chambered Telecaster sounds quite different from those found on traditional models. These pickups are a modern take of Fender's first venture into humbuckers in the early 1970s. They provide a thicker sound than single-coils and respond well to overdrive, giving the guitar a warm voicing. If you prefer the bell-like tones of single-coils, fear not -- with a press of the S-1 switch on the tone knob, the voicing of either pickup can be switched for read more an authentic single-coil sound that's a bit on the fatter end.

Well-Accessorized

As part of Fender's Select line, it's no surprise that the Select Chambered Telecaster comes with premium appointments. The six-saddle bridge runs the strings through the body for enhanced resonance while locking tuners keep you sounding sharp. All the hardware is done up in chrome to match the look of the pickups.
