The Pawn Shop Series introduces an unconventional assortment of guitars that never were but should have been, including the family's first bass guitar model the Fender Pawn Shop Reverse Jaguar Bass. This bass stands Fender's popular Jaguar bass design on its head with features including a reverse body and reverse headstock, fresh pickguard shape, two enormous Reverse Jaguar humbucking pickups and a streamlined control layout of a single three-way pickup toggle switch and two knobs (volume and tone). Its one of the most distinctive Fender bass guitars ever.

Pawn Shop Series guitars are inspired by the more eccentric Fender creations of the mid-60s to mid-70s, which sometimes found their way to the outside world and into the more esoteric pages of Fender history. Crafted for thoroughly modern sound and quality, they present a creative alchemy of diverse Fender elements.

I bought this without any reviews or anything being on Zzounds, so never playing it before I knew that I was taking a risk. Man, am I glad I took that risk. This thing has the most full tone I have ever gotten out of a bass. I love this thing. I play in a punk rock band and its perfect! You can get any tone you want out of the two humbuckers. I love the simple volume and tone knobs. You cannot compare this to the sound of a Jazz or P bass like most people would like. If you're in the market to try something different with a bass, this is your bass to get. Only thing is it takes some getting used to playing a reverse guitar.
