This remarkable model is Eddie Van Halen's personal tribute to the short-scale set-neck guitars of the late 1950s. While the original Wolfgang has a 25.5" scale length, the Custom has a shorter 24.5" scale length: a time-tested short-scale design that allows for longer reaches. Eddie also chose specific tonewoods for the Wolfgang USA Custom model: a mahogany set neck, solid mahogany body, and 1/2" flame maple top. It all adds up to a guitar that looks and feels like a vintage classic -- but with hot-rodded EVH pickups that are born to rock.
