This baby resonates your playing with an alder body housing a LH-150 neck humbucker and a LTS-120 bridge single-coil pickup. A bolt-on maple neck in a relaxed thin U contour with a rosewood fretboard of 22XJ frets rests comfortably in your hand. Master tone and volume controls will let you dial in your sound, and attractive nickel hardware adds flare and security to your axe's look and playability. Holding your strings down in confident fashion is a shiny traditional flat-mount bridge.

Alder Body with Character to Burn

This axe is cut with a visually and sonically attractive alder body. Alder wood is often associated with Fender guitar tones, and this wood really gives your sound a clear, full-bodied sonic weight. Well-defined lows and sturdy mids swell through this axe's body with a pleasant warmth and inviting character. The slightly brownish color of naturally dried alder gives your TE202 a cool aged look like it's been around the block a few times.

Comfy Maple Bolt-on Neck

Your TE202 is fitted with a cozy bolt-on maple neck cut in a comfortable thin U contour that rests almost like a puzzle piece in your hand. This appendage's rosewood fingerboard is made up of 22 XJ frets and features a cool looking TE202 inlay at the 12th fret. The fingerboard of this baby is smooth and harnesses a comfortable read more action that makes playing feel just as enjoyable as it sounds. Your fingers will be glued to this neck for hours on end.

Nickel Hardware and Traditional Flat-mount Bridge

Adding an appropriate dash of flair to your TE202 is its attractive nickel hardware. From the shiny ESP tuners down to your flat-mount bridge, your eyes will enjoy this axe just as much as your ears will. Your flat-mount bridge holds your strings town in confident security that not only keeps your sustain lingering, but it also holds your notes in tune longer before you have to retune.

ESP LTS-120 Bridge and LH-150 Neck Pickups

Your ESP LTS-120 bridge single-coil pickup brings a "Tele" look and sound to your TE202, with a bright tone that cuts through nicely for lead parts. Your LH-150 neck humbucker adds beefiness and body to your signal, keeping your sound full and thick. Your tone and volume controls give you more room for more sonic control, and your three-way pickup selector switch allows you to choose the right pickup combinations for whatever your ears desire.

This guitar will remain a fixture in my arsenal for a long, long time. If stolen or lost, I'd replace it ASAP (once my insurance check comes).

Sound
I've compared this to a Fender Standard Telecaster and I prefer the neck on the ESP/LTD. This guitar has the "tele-bite" for half the cost of the Fender model. I've had the guitar for three days now putting it through its paces and like my other ESP/LTDs, this one is a superb sounding and playing guitar for a reasonable cost. To be honest, they're a steal in my opinion.

Features
The pickups could be upgraded if one chose to, but the stock pickups are more than adequate. The finish has a wonderful worn/relic look and the neck is fast. This is my fifth ESP/LTD and I'm still not disappointed.

Ease of Use
Plug it in, dial in nice clean tone, switch to bridge pickup and do your best Danny Gatton impersonation. Throw on some dirt and delay and I found myself playing with some wicked abandon with a biting tone only achievable on a tele-style configuration.

Quality
Like I said, this is my fifth ESP/LTD and this model is rock solid- just as my other ones. For the money, I'd be hard pressed to find a better overall value. Unless that is, you have an endorsement deal...

Value
Worth every penny if you're looking for a tele-style guitar.

I've only had to contact ESP Customer Service once (needed to register) and they were top notch.

The Wow Factor
I love the look of a tele, but never liked the standard Fender neck. This solves that.
