ESP LTD KH-602 Kirk Hammett Signature Electric Guitar (with Case)

The ESP LTD KH-602 offers tone and attitude fit for Kirk Hammett. With EMG KH Bone Breaker pickups and a Floyd Rose, this ESP lets you ride the lightning.

What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Floyd Rose Original locking tremolo Double-locks guitar in tune at nut and bridge
Neck-through-body construction Longer sustain; strong midrange; smooth feel
3-piece maple neck Improved strength and stability; clear tone
Alder body Light weight with a wide tonal range

ESP has an awesome line of signature axes, and now it's the Kirk Hammett ESP LTD KH-602 electric guitar's turn to show you just how shred-worthy your game can get. The Metallica axeman's signature ESP is stocked with a pair of EMG humbuckers -- an EMG KH Bone Breakers -- for a full metal-synthesis of distortion to flood your ears. A comfortable countered alder body and extra-thin U-shaped maple neck with a bound rosewood or pau ferro fingerboard of 24 XJ frets offer biting resonance and easy playability. One master tone and two volume control knobs allow you to shape your EMG pickups the way you want, and a three-way pickup selector switch gives you three pickup settings to choose from. This neck-through-body ESP is a powerful, versatile instrument with a brilliant tone for solos!

Locking Nut and Floyd Rose 1000 Vibrato Bridge

What good is tone if your axe lacks secure intonation? The combination of a locking nut and the ESP KH-602's secure and immensely flexible Floyd Rose 1000 vibrato bridge will keep your tuning in check, leaving you focused on your playing and not on unwanted out-of-tune distractions. Dive your strings low or bend them high -- your sustain will last, and your notes will continuously remain in tune.

Countered Alder Body and Maple Neck

Alder gives your axe a nice, full-bodied sound that keeps your highs from being too bright while boosting your mids and lows effectively. The ESP LTD KH-602's maple neck provides a tight sound that also keeps your highs read more in check -- no overbearing brightness here. This neck, with its bound rosewood
or pau ferro fingerboard of 24 XJ frets, plays like butter with an incredibly close action and thin U-shaped neck. And as you'd expect from a Kirk Hammett signature guitar, this one has black hardware and skull-and-crossbones inlays.

Great guitar for looks, price, and playability just get it. I own one and I will probably get it buried with me. This is the best guitar I played and currently own.
Sound
This guitar I by far the smoothest I have ever played. The tone is great and playing leads on it is like no other.
Features
Everything about this guitar is perfect from the type of wood to the electonics.
Ease of Use
This is an easy guitar to play if you have experience. Beginners will have to get used to it. The jumbo frets is where people will get messed up because of the spacing of the strings.
Quality
This guitar will last a lifetime.
Value
It is a very good price
Manufacturer Support
I did not have to use any of the manufacturing numbers or talk to anyone this guitar was perfect right out of the box. The strings are great and it was in perfect tune right out of the box.
