Shadows Fall has been one of the premier American metal bands. At the heart of their sound has been Jon Donais. If you've heard the sound of their records you know that no simple guitar out there can handle what he throws at it. ESP in conjunction with Jon worked out what his vision of a guitar should be. It all starts with the wood. A high quality flamed maple top sits on a figured mahogany body shaped to provide easy access to the highest frets. An ebony fingerboard is both extremely fast to play and easy on the fingers for extended playing. ESP didn't leave anything to chance and put some of EMG's hottest pickups the 85 and 81 on the guitar to guide you through.
