ESP LTD F-104 Electric Bass

Gothic contours and foreboding angles give this solidly fundamental bass a distinctive and haunting style.

When it comes to Metal, speed comes first. An aggressive, in-your-face look is a close second, though. ESP's menacing F104 bass has both in (The Ace Of) Spades. The heavily-contoured F-style Basswood body is all sick angles and punishing tone, and the SB-4 tuners with 2-band Active EQ deliver the grittiest Grindcore grooves imaginable. A 24-fret U-shaped neck is ready to handle your fastest runs, and the super-deep cutaway lets you hit every note with precision.

This bass blew me away. The stock string were kind if eh, so I bought some Ernie balls(5 string set and ditched the smallest. Had to file nut a little, no biggie) and I tuned it to d standard, sometimes drop c. This thing sounds so amazing. It sound setter than most basses twice as expensive. The thin neck allows for fast playing really well and let's be real. It looks bad ass. Like a nightmare before Xmas strat. Totally would recommend if you're looking for a metal bass, but if you're wanted to go lower than drop c or c standard, go with the 5 string for tone quality.

Musical Background:

Musical Style:
