ESP LTD EC-200QM Quilt Maple Electric Guitar

No longer available at zZounds
An unbelievable value on a set-neck guitar, the single-cutaway EC-200QM boasts a beautiful quilt top and ESP LH-301 humbuckers with push/pull coil tapping.

Now, a set neck, quilt top ESP guitar is more affordable than ever. That's right - ESP is now delivering a set-neck guitar at this low price! This thing is built like a classic single-cutaway instrument, complete with a 24-3/4 in. scale length and a Tune-o-matic bridge with a stop tailpiece. But this one is supercharged with ESP LH-301 humbuckers with Push-Pull Coil taps and that incredible quilted maple top. Other features include black hardware, a basswood body, a 3-piece mahogany neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (XJ frets), and neck/headstock binding.

Double Action Truss Rods
All ESP/LTD guitars and basses feature a 'double-action' truss rod design. Unlike a normal (single) truss rod, this one is adjustable in two different directions. This means that you'll never run into a situation where the neck has 'run out of adjustment'. Regardless of which ESP model you choose, you'll get years and years of playing enjoyment.

I expected good things based on my prior experience with ESP. I did not expect this guitar to exceed my expectations in every category. Start with appearance, its flawless. The pics don't come close to reality. Everyone that's seen it has stopped and stared. It stands out even when grouped with my Nighthawk and PRS SE, not exactly homely guitars either. Then comes the tone, literally, because all I had to do was tune it. No other setup was needed for it to suit my tastes. Let me qualify my impression first by saying I played this guitar through Bugera V5, V22, and Laney CUB 12, amps known for great clean and sweet reverb. I won't change a thing. The Pups give me exactly what I want and my last ESP made me convert to Cleartone. This guitar is every bit in the same league as the two more expensive guitars mentioned earlier and comes in a solid #2 as comfortable to play for extended periods. I just couldn't be more satisfied with this guitar or the light speed delivery arranged by zZounds. How's 41 hours from order to delivery sound? I can't think of a single aspect of this experience that lacks in any way.
