"Good quality shipments and I always love your prices. My order shipped free and with no tax! You have my vote, zZounds!" - customer on August 14, 2010
Feature:
The features on this are pretty damn good. The EMG pickups set it off a treat. The finishes it comes in (especially black cherry) make it look just that bit more rockin. The volume and tone knobs are plentiful also so you can adjust your sound to suit your style easily. In the way of strings I use elite's because they seem to give it a bit more.
Quality:
It's really good quality, made perfectly and well up to ESP's usual high standards. Quality finish, not a single paint defect or any sign of it possibly flaking or whatever. Never have to worry about anything breaking, and I treat it pretty rough sometimes! This thing will probly last forever, unless I decide to smash it to pieces, an even then it'll take some smashin.
Value:
For what comes with the bass AND the brand name too its amazing at this price, best value for money your gonna find for something like this.
Desirability:
can you not see the picture about? look at it, its beautiful, what more do I need to say??
Sound:
The B-255 is perfect for what I like to play. It has a great heavy sound and the pickups take it that bit further, its way better than any other bass that I've tried. It's also really goodfor live gigs, I use it with a Peavey TNT 115 live and it seems to shake the whole room when your playing a real heavy riff like Metallica and alike.
Overall:
This bass is overall the best one I've ever used, and I've used Ibanez's and Gibsons etc. Just the sound you get from it on the right amp is so amazing. Not gonna replace this beauty for a very very very long time!

Overall:
I was looking for a good 5 string for under $1000. I looked while on business in Nashville, Memphis, Jacksonville, Northbrook, Michigan and New Orleans. Nothing really impressed me. I have an EPS guitar that I use for laying tracks (it was an inexpensive guitar but really good quality) so I figured what do I have to loose, I can return it if I don't like it. Turned out to be a great buy!
